Novel publishes whitepaper on understanding changing drone regulations

To accompany the launch of Novel's dedicated commercial drone service offering, Novel Principal Systems Engineer Lee Howarth has authored a whitepaper to assist drone manufacturers with understanding the complexity of the airworthiness regulations they face.

Targeting the complex topics of drone commercialisation and certification, the paper looks at the recent changes in the regulations of drone operations in Europe and further afield, and tries to answer the question, do drones need to be certified?
